Okay guys here it is. Im playing in a 50k tourny at Pacific poker and Ive made it to the final table. Ive been doing alright but now with the blinds at 10k/20k Im short stacked with only 180k in chips. Im on the button and get delt J J. Theres 2 callers before me so i raise to 100k to try and get the rumbish hands out. The SB folds BB calls and one of the 2 early pos callers calls. Theres 330k in the pot that would put me in good position to place in the top 3 is not win the tourny. The flop comes down J Q J. SWEET!!! I think to myself, as I look at my quads. BB bets out 60k, 2nd guy folds leaving me heads up and I go allin and get called. He shows Q 10 suited spades. Ausome, no PP queens so the pot is mine I think to myself. Turn comes Q. Okay slight chance to be beaten but theres only the 1 queen left for him to get and odds of that are like 1 in 1000. But alas it was not my day. River comes down as the last Queen in the deck. OUCH!!! Im beaten by runner runner quad queens to beat my quad jacks and im left to leave this tourny after 4 and a half hours in 9th place for 1537 bucks. Took me along time to get over this beat and Im still alittle shakey when i get quads there.
