:D Don't know that I'm qualified to correctly answer your question.  Having said that, I think it would be advantageous to keep the maximum possible.  As you said, when you hit the nut hand, don't you want the most out of it.  This I am sure of:  some poker rooms allow you to automatically stay topped up after losing a hand.  That is, as long as you have funds available in your account.  Good luck. :D

I heard somewhere that when you're playing cash games within Bankroll, it's a good idea to always be as closed to topped off as you can, so that if you find yourself shoving with premium holdings, you can get the full value for them.

My question is when exactly you should top yourself off. We can all expect to lose a few big blinds/hands before we land a winner, so should you top off when you've lost ten big blinds, 1/4 of your stack, 1/3 of it?

Many thanks for your time, and best of luck out there!

Yeah I always try and keep my roll topped of because you can maximize your double up. but on the other hand you can start to lose track on how much you have won/lost. Also you are at risk of losing more win topped off.

I usually come in with 65 to 75 percent of the buy in.  And say I suck to rvr and miss I will bring it back to 60 percent.  Usually in a different room - ring game-  If I'm losing.

When your at 65-75 percent you don't get the most for your money but the better players will be more likely to call a shorter stack all in since they are not losing there whole stack.  When you have 20 bucks in a 10 cnt room(10 buck by in) and your raising big time unless your wild and they have a geat draw or hand there not callin big raises.  Not every one will call you especially if you are a tight, aggressive, such as my self.
And of course you lose less if your all in w a nut str8t on flop and get rvr flushed or rvr 4 of a kind, or you get your set str8tened out or your set flushed or your flush boated.
I've made up my mind I will lose at times but not often
