Hello Freerolltourny members,
While I have always tried to handle the problems I have with poker sites on my own, this time I need your help. I have been trying to get Poker4ever to see the error of thier ways. Most players already know about 3 months ago poker4ever changed the way they allow affiliates (forum owners) to set up private events. The way the system is now, you can only play in an event if you download from that affiliate. This has caused some major problems that I don't agree with. For example, players started to open multiple accounts and players that first downloaded from an affiliate whose forum is now closed or from an affiliate that doesn't host private events can no longer play in our events. I have never really cared if a player downloads from me. Once in awhile we do have special games for those that do this, but we do not have many of those. Some poker sites do not understand that even if a player does not download from me but opens the software to play in one of our events, that we are helping that poker site. Most money players will sit at a ring table or play another buy-in game once they open that site's software. Poker4evers ring game action has dropped to almost nothing since the new rule went into place and the reps there cannot put 2+2 together. So what can you do for me?
On Monday join Freerolltourny and other forums in an email blitz. Please send an email to marketing@poker4ever.com and let them know you are not happy about the change. If your afraid you might forget, please send the email now. Let them know you want private events open for all affiliates that wish to have their events open for all players with the password.
Over the last few years, Don and I have had lots of events at poker4ever and we wish they would make the change. We don't think it is right that a member on our site can only play if they download from us. We have several active forum members that cannot play in the events and don't believe it is fair.
Thank you,
Bucnright
