ConAgra Recalls Peter Pan Peanut Butter
(WSBT) ConAgra foods is voluntarily recalling two brands of peanut butter because of a possible link to salmonella.
The recalled products are Peter Pan and Great Value Peanut Butter. The product code begins with 2111.
People in several states have gotten sick from Salmonella, but no one has died. The states covered in the recall are: Alaska ,Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
If consumers have this product, they should discard it, but save the product lid.
For a full refund, consumers must return the Peter Pan Peanut Butter or Great Value Peanut Butter product lid along with their name and mailing address to ConAgra Foods, P.O. Box 57078, Irvine, CA 92619-7078.
