$28,000 jackpot down the tubes
« on: February 09, 2006, 01:22:15 AM »
One time in a 3-6 game at the casino the jackpot was $28,000 for As full of Ks being beat. I get KK and raise preflop,  2 players call. Flop was A-A-A, I bet and say"if someone calls me, I guess I'm beat" 1 guy calls me. Now people start gathering around the table. The turn is a 7, I check and the guy bets, I'm thinking this is strange and I call. Now about 15 people are gathered around, everyone's attention is on us. The river is a 6 and he bets again, I call, he turns over A-7os. he was betting because he knew his kicker tied the board and nullified the jackpot. The whole room goes "OHHH", everything went black for me for a moment and I start screaming at him " why do you call me with that S@%T !" I flipped over a food table, but they didnt kick me out lol. they felt too bad for me I guess. Any 2 cards under a 7 and I woulda had $15K in my pocket. I got the nickname  BadBeat Chad after that lol.

Ok, I just re-read this one JD.... you still had AAA/KK and got beat by quad aces..... so how did the 7 come into play??
