lack of freerolls
« on: July 21, 2009, 04:10:45 PM »
is it just me or are freerolls becoming very rare as of late i dont mean private freerolls i mean freerolls belongings to sites for example when i first joined betfredpoker they were running loads of freerolls a day some satelites and soem for cash and now they host just 3 freerolls a day with noble when i joined they were hosting 2 $1000 freerolls a week...2 daily $100 freerolls and 2 daiy beginners freerolls and now they host 1 tournament in the freeroll lsit and its not even free it costs point to enter it....it justs eems as though sites refuse to reward players at there site with something they would like and that is justa  couple of freerolls now and then imo the only true softwares for freerolls is software that takes to do with ladbrokes poker, canbet poker,Purple Lounge etc who still do a dfew daily freerolls a day and the merge software they have stuck with there freerolls every 4 hours for ages now and hopefllly they keep doing that  ;)
Allin Situation: 7s-7c vs 7h-3s...Flop: 7d-8h-9h...Turn: 10h....River: 6h...Not Only Does 7-3 Beat 7-7 It Beats It Well  ;D

Poker sites will offer daily freerolls to build a customer base mainly,so once they ve done that, they will slow down or even stop them.Everleaf sites are notorious for this among others.
Back before the uigea, you couldnt find a freeroll anywhere that didnt fill up with 10k players in 10 seconds. All their money went to expensive advertising. So it will prolly go back to that when the online poker debate/uigea is settled,so enjoy all you can now!I really like it better this way in alot of ways.

Most sites have freerolls running regularly. Like every 2 or 4 hrs. UltimateBet has it every 2 hrs. Stars too, however stars freerolls are terrible. They are sattelites to another freeroll. So initially u can't win anything.

I also realized that there is not many freerolls running anymore. I am upset that the3dpoker.com doesn't exist anymore because they use to have a freeroll every hour. To find good freerolls, you need to look out for new poker rooms that are running on unique software. There hasn't been many lately.

i still can find them but i notice the prizepool is shrinking.  when i first joined merge it used to have $200 freerolls(blue ribbon)  then $100 freerolls(red ribbon) now $50 freerolls(green ribbon).  what's next?  $25 freerolls with yellow ribbons?  i used to love their play money freerolls with huge play money payouts.   ;D

i agree with the afct that prizepools are shrinking for example when i first joined 24hpoker the freerolls were $50 etc now they are for $6 and $10 i know its free money but i dont think its worth sitting for 4 hours to win $1.65?

The freerolls now offered are terrible with the prize money compared to what they used to be. The poker forum freerolls are also a lot smaller as well. Seems like the sites are wanting the money all coming their way with giving almost nothing in return. Sounds like a lot of businesses these days.

i dont really care much about forum freerolls i think theres more than enough forum freerolls ...its the fact that the sites just arent offering enough freerolls of there own imo
