Rules for Freerolls

If the event says the password will be in the store you do not have to post your username.

Since we have been having a large number of password thiefs sharing our passwords for events I had to make some changes for our events.

From now on you must post your username for the site we are having the freeroll at.

Once you post your username you will be added to the usergroup for the hosting site (Example Cakepoker, CD poker, Ironduke).

The members in the freeroll that have not posted their username if any will be blocked from entering any of our events. On certain sites they will also risk the chance of having their players accounts closed.

No Players will be added the day of the events. If you posted your username and have not been added to the usergroup to view the passwords please send me a private message.

By posting your usernames you agree to follow the rules. If you are caught sharing our events your usernames will be sent to the poker sites to have your accounts closed.

at the same site, ie.  Cake Poker?  Or do we post our usernames once

I have no problem with this.  We don't need the unwelcome players.

There's no place to put our Redstar and Dune names.

I would like to say "Thank you" for looking out for us  forum members better interest, and in doing everything you can to keep these "Idiots" in check. FRT feels more secure now and we can enjoy our Tourney's knowing everybody in them is part of the FRT family. Your professionalism show's in the way you and your staff put together these most excellent events and run a tight ship here at FRT forum. So I guess I'll see you all at the final tables and Good Luck to all. :wink:  :wink:  :wink:

Just finished reading your email about the changes u will be having to post user names into the site to play in the freeroll. Thanks for the change. Although I don't play in all the tourneys u list, I do enjoy playing. This new issue hopefully will stop some of the crazyness going on in the freerolls. You peopel at Freerolltourny have been doing a great job. I know it isn't an easy job either. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that u have to do to put together a tourny. So now all the "Idiots Freerollers" will have a tough time and we can enjoy the tourny a lot more knowing that just the members are playing. Again thanks for all you have done for us forum members.  :D

i am sorry that you have to go through all this trouble just to protect the privacyof a password.  some people will stoop to anything.  i think this will work though.  thanks for taking action.   8)

Thanks for implementing these additional steps to help deter the PW lamers.  It's truly a pity that a few members who clearly don't care about anyone but themselves oblige you to do this extra work

I have NP at all with delayed manual payouts to ensure only eligible members get paid.  In fact, I've suggested that a few times myself in other forums.  What I'd further suggest is that whenever you don't pay someone because they snuck in, make sure their names are as visible as possible to the entire membership.  This will at least partly remove the internet anonymity that PW thieves' hide behind.

OK got them all posted but some sites are missing lol.no name for Bodog they dont allow canadians yet.buc are you familiar with "online poker tour"they use a system where you put all your usernames in control panel and passwords for the sites games  wont be visible to you until you have put your nick for site in right place.i dont know how difficult it is to setup but its pretty userfriendly[ex. you click on schedule and the games and passwords for the sites you have your usernames posted for show for you but you only see them like for one day in advance}

The only problem with that is the passwords are visable to anyone who puts a name in. This way here I can remove a player from seeing the event passwords. Or if a player here and I do have several I know have shared our events posts his/her username I do not have to add him to the user group to see the event information. The one member from Turkey I put in the email digitalium has used 7 different IP addresses once I block him he comes back makes a post and steals the event.
