Poker goals for April
« on: April 13, 2008, 08:09:30 AM »
I realize we're already well into April, but I got to thinking this morning about my poker goals for this month (somewhat late since I usually do this around the beginning), and wondered if anyone else has any they'd be willing to share.

While I know some people who set goals for things like number of hands or tournaments to play, or a monetary target, mine are somewhat simpler:

- Continue my streak of consecutive winning months.  While I've been close to losing months a few times, I'm at 36 and counting.  :)

- Continue working on my NLH MTT game.  I've identified a couple of things to work on this month, and maybe for longer depending how quickly it goes.  Not going to say what they are, so if you want to exploit these leaks, you'll have to figure out what they are for yourself.  :p

- Continue consolidating my bankroll.  I have money on at least 20 poker sites.  In quite a few cases, the amounts aren't enough to withdraw.  In some others, I have raked hand requirements to clear.  So earlier this year, I started cleaning this situation up.  Going slowly, but at least it's going.

Cheers

I think having a monthly/daily goal is a bad thing. I am speaking in terms of having a set figure you want to hit. I really like your goals you have listed. It sounds to me that you really want to win and you are always open to learning more.

My current goal is to continue building my bankroll up at a consistent rate. At the beginning of this year I took off all of my money because I needed the cash. I started playing again about a month ago, just in freerolls. Well needless to say I have a $200 right now on 4 different sites. I want to continue to build it up so I can take money out at a consistent basis.

GL to everyone with their goals.
