OK here is the deal PokerNordica like many sites offer affiliates events. To start out they are pretty open to just about any affiliate. Once the first events happen if an affiliate does not produce a large number of downloading players and some depositors they will cut back on what they offer that affiliate. Affiliates that do produce players will still get events. This is a standard practice at many sites.
The large problem is no lots of forums are opening and everyone thinks its easy to get events. The new forums ask for tons of freerolls and abuses what the site offers at first. Good example is Freerolltourny and Texaswheel. Don and I are both affiliates I was offered to start out a bunch of freerolls I passed on the large ones Don accepted the larger ones. I did get the email out to the players before he did and did get over 500 downloads Don got a lot less. My next request to PokerNordica was approved which are all the events listed for this month 5 events total with $170 added and 1 $100 freeroll for players that come and play at are ring table. Dons first request was very close to mine but got turned down they agreed to offer him $100 added to his events.
I did make a post in the passwords section about the one forum owner that I knew was talking about me in an email to his players. It was about my ring table trivia challenge freeroll. This event was talked about with PokerNordica when I first signed up with them as an affiliate and has nothing to do with them limiting events for me.
To sum it up an affiliate must produce to get events if the affiliate does not produce after a sites first offer they will cut back on events for him/her.
Absolute & Pokercom are great examples for me I do not have many players there but have had some events every event after the first one I had I had to pay 50% of the prize money.
