What's your favourite starting hand

I don't know why but I always seem to win with Q 3 o/s, maybe because nobody expects you to have kept those cards. What's your favourite :?:  :?:  :?:

My favorite is K9...suited or unsuited,makes no difference..I find it very hard to lay down pre-flop...Although lately I must say ANYTHING with a J has been very good to me!

J 10. Rather it was suited, but I'll take it anyway I can get it. Though I do have a love hate relationship with AK. Who would have thought it? I bet I'm not alone on that one  :twisted:

Been a fan of 910 suited lately.  I dont fall in love with any hand pre flop at best its only a pair, which are beaten a large percentage of the time.

like tinheads mine starts with a Q but mine is Q 7, I play this hand nomatter what, I folded to a raise one time and the flop was 7 7 Q, so no more I always play this hand. I usually win with it 75% of the time.

Big pokcet  pairs AK < AQ  of course , but other hands  i like are JK suited KQ suited,

that is a hard question I would have to say the one that matches the flop :D I like suited connectors and painted pockets.I hate pocket aces at Cake i would rather get low pockets there.

Good point timeflight - I have been tracking AA and KK hands at Cake - when the play went to the river - AA wins about 31% of the time, KK about 37% of the time.  Please note - the sample is not yet statistically valid, but it appears to be an interesting trend.

Those odds are about right AA at a 10 player table preflop is only a 31% chance to win. The less players in the hand the higher the % will be. Problem with Cake now is the players with no skill that think 67 offsuit is worth 10 times the blind and call preflop. Then get a srt8 draw and will continue calling because they think there odds are good.

My fav has always been King 9. Seems to be very good to me, my 2nd fav is Jack 10.
