Ipoker to allow US players
« on: February 12, 2007, 06:59:51 AM »
Does anyone know if there is any truth at all to the rumor that the "Ipoker" network (Titan, Noble,Ocean,BetFred,CD, etc...) will once again allow US residents to play at their cardrooms?  I heard about this on another forum which said it was to start today, Monday Feb12TH!

You are right on the money Witchy!  I liked them too, but I still have a bad taste in my mouth over them abandoning us US players!

What they are doing is going back to the "more than one account" policy they had before.

Ipoker at one time (as most of you know) had no rule that said you could not open an account on Titan, Kiwi, CDpoker, etc.. all at the same time, with just adding a number behind your name or having a different name altogether.

They change that rule a while back, and you could only have one account on the network (except the ones that already had multiple accounts). So if you had a Titan account, and the forum was playing on Kiwi, you could not sign up for Kiwi to play in it.

As of 12 Feb, you can now have an account at any or ALL ipoker rooms you want.

How they confused that with allowing the U.S players back in.... you got me.

I agree with you witchy on this but you said it in more polite wording than I would. These sites were my favorites with all the tournys and I could always find a good ring game late at night to get into. Plus they helped out with my bills each month from cashing out on them. I miss em but you'll never find me on them even if they do come back.

I too agree with Withchy!!....I LOVED Titan, well all the ipoker sites, but especially Titan...It was my bread & butter, but I WILL NOT return when or if they EVER allow us back....I won't play at ANY site that jumped the gun and ran in fear of the US government...But I sure do miss them...My br hasn't been the same since they closed my account!....lol

You guys are kidding.  I did make money on Titan but hardly played there.  Right now I am doing better than before the banning day.  There are some great sites out there with lot's of fish.
