I've played 5 at a time, but try to stick to no more than 3...When playing more than a couple though you don't have time to observe the other players at your tables...At most you only have time to click!!...And just a warning, with more than one table open...be very careful about them overlapping and popping up unexpectedly because it is VERY easy to call an all-in or raise when you didnt mean to...The tables pop up quick

20 games huh?  I'd say they have several big screen monitors.

Myself, I've play as many as 4 at a time but that it rare.  I like to keep it at 2-3 max most of the time.

I can play 4 at the most. It is easier if the games are on sites where you can size the tables so that the buttons do not overlap. One time I ended up in 5 due to one game not finishing on time and it gave me a real headache. I try not to get in more than 3 because then I can actually play the games well and still keep an eye on what the other players are doing, i.e. bluffing, etc.

When US players were welcome at all poker sites I used to play 3 4 tournys at once. But found  myself folding a hand and calling all in on the wrong table so now I limit it to 2 at the most. Either it's old age or maybe the 3rd drink I shouldn't have had.

tht is probaly havad khan from 2007 world series of poker final table. as i recall he played as many as 46 at one time and had to make a video to prove to the poker sites that he wasnt somehow cheating. myself i can do 2 or 3 at once, and that is plenty. i need to be able to concentrate more than he does i guess. :)

like anything it is a skill to develop.  my record is nineteen, which is all i could reasonably fit on my monitor in a cascade sequence and then i had to constantly click through one to the next and did just fine.
i do not like playing just one table online...i will fall asleep.  not so at a brickandmortar casino.
i am most comfortable playing between three and nine.  at times, i feel i play better on multiple tables because i do not get a chance to out-think a situation and overextend a hand.
