what's up at 4ever?
« on: September 02, 2006, 11:52:05 PM »
Hey Buc, or anybody else who may have an inside track at Poker4Ever ...

Have they (why have they) changed their freeroll schedule?
4ever quickly became one of my favorite sites.
But it seems they have taken away one tournament I looked forward to every day ... Omaha Hi/Lo freeroll ...

From what I can see in the lobby, they have taken away almost all of the freeroll tournaments, only 2 left ...

Anybody know if this is a 'permanent' change, or just temp?

When they posted the pop-up about US bank accounts, they scared a lot of players away. They will still accept and use Netteller to pay out all your winnings if you live in the USA.

The freeroll schedule was reduced as a result of the player drop I am pretty sure. They are still hosting the Ladder tournaments also, which are great ways to win some major funds there.

As the player base returns, the tournaments will come back I am sure. Thats why there is $1000 in private freerolls there for you this month. Top bring you back into the room.

Mmm, don't like it as a consumer, but of course it's understandable. A particular shame cuz that was the only Hi/Lo freeroll I know of. Will miss that.

Perhaps a forum tournament director could be persuaded in organizing one? Omaha? Preferably Hi/Lo? Low-buyin? Preferably freeroll?
t'was just a thought ...
