Worst beta ive ever seen. I find it funny when the winner of the tournament is the one who can get the call and raise buttons to register. Cant remember a beta as bad as this...

There I sat looking at Rockets - couldn't bet auto folded

There I sat looking at Big Slick - couldn't bet auto folded

Closed down, restarted

There I sat looking at 4 5 os - didn't care, tried to bet auto folded

couldn't chat - no buttons registering

So sad

Good luck for anyone that can play...

Same here witchy. :(

I call - I'm folded
I raise - I'm folded
I fold - PC crashes :?:
I try to chat - PC crashes

I log back in - wait 10 minutes for table to load up again on the off-chance a button might work

Think I'll give up.

Instead of emailing support with what's wrong, I'm going to email what's right!      That would be . . . erm . . . nothing at the moment

EDIT:  Now I call, whatever button I hit! 8O

I posted above how to help the software run better. Close the tournament lobby and turn the chat off. I couldn't play a hand for the first 20 minutes until I did both. I won ours and finished 14th in the poker101a tournament.

As for tropics they were in beta testing for  a while i was one of the first ones in. They had the same kind of problems at the start. Spades wanted to get forum members in to beta test the software. I gave away 100 beta accounts yet everytime I was in there was less then 5 people. They really couldn't test the software with those numbers. Then spades emailed all the members that pre-registered and let everyone in 2 weeks ago. The highest amount of players after that I saw was 13. So they decide the only way to get members in to test the software was to pay them. Were they ready for all the numbers NO are they more upset about the problems than you YES.

Give them a break they now know what they need to do. I use to play at pokerhost a long time ago after years of problems with that site, I quit. This is a new site with new software. If they don't make improvements I will not use them. They same way I don't use pokerhost.

Buc

I beta test poker rooms all the time (currently beta testing another site)... my post was meant to be amusing - cause stuff like this is expected....

I restarted a couple of times and had buttons for a little while. I read your post so turned off chat, but the lobby wouldn't close (every time I tried I got an exception error). I closed every other program I had running (XP system with over a Gig of memory)...

I went through the same thing at Poker.com, Games Grid, Poker4Ever and Tropical. Unfortunately, the only way to test the software is by people playing and the only way people will play is if you pay them.

PitBull is the most recent example of this. They started with $25 freerolls every hour and had less than 100 playing. The amount playing grew so they upped the freerolls to $50 to be sure they got enough players. It also didn't hurt that they gave away $10. Now I have seen as many as 300 playing in their freerolls and slowly they are getting some cash players (got to do something with the $10 and the freeroll winnings  :P )

Spades has the potential... they are just in Beta right now and this stuff is going to happen ---- alot.

Witchy my post wasn't really meant for you there were a few I had to remove. I expecet these problems, but some members just like to complain. A new site wanted us to come try it to put a load on them we did what we were asked. Next time maybe I will limit it to players that understand what they were trying to do.

I see players at pokerhost all the time. The thing that made me leave them was 7 out of 8 buy-ins in one day crashed and they did nothing. They have problems all the time and I know of one big forum that pushes them, they are the biggest money maker for them. They also are the site that gets the most complaints for them.

I do remember poker.com beta testing it wasnt fun. Now they run pretty smooth.
