Tuesday February 7, 9:36 am ET

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Scott Burress, of Columbus, Ohio and Greg Sellmeyer, of Cincinnati, Ohio, won the first two World Series of Poker (WSOP) seats in the Milwaukee's Best Light free online "Texas Hold 'Em Challenge" tournament. Milwaukee's Best Light will be giving away four additional seats to the 2006 WSOP, over the next four weeks in the richest U.S.-based, free online poker tournament.

The "Texas Hold 'Em challenge" can be found online at http://poker.milbestlight.com and is powered by Poker Creations, a division of NLOP, Inc. Boston-based software and game-engine provider.

Scott Burress, age 33, is a Business and Process Consultant with a local hospital. Playing cards since a young age, Burress tried his hand at Hold'em merely a year ago. Hearing about the Milwaukee's Best Light tournament through an online bulletin board, Burress figured why not -- maybe learn a little more; play for free -- and the next thing he knew, he hit a diamond flush on the turn, went all in, and his opponent called. Burress won. To prepare for the WSOP, Burress plans to continue playing in his weekly games with friends and to participate in a few local games in Columbus.

Greg Sellmeyer, age 47, is an electrical engineer. Mathematical by nature, Sellmeyer determined his odds in each hand and read his opponents well, staying in tune with their playing patterns. His advice is to "just hang in there," and he cautions against consistency and bluffing too often. He began watching Hold 'Em on TV and then started playing friendly games with family members. He read about the "Best Me" promotion on a case of Milwaukee's Best Light. Entering the tournament in week four, Sellmeyer just hoped to be in the top 100. In the final hand, his opponent went all in; Sellmeyer called, and up popped the winner box.

As Milwaukee's Best Light's first two winners, Burress and Sellmeyer beat out thousands of online competitors to claim their seats at the WSOP, a prize that includes round trip for two to Las Vegas during the summer of 2006, hotel accommodations and $1,000 spending cash where he will occupy a $10,000 Seat at the 2006 No Limit Texas Hold'em World Series of Poker Championship Event.

Milwaukee's Best Light's "Texas Hold 'Em Challenge" was developed by Boston-based Poker Creations, a division of NLOP, Inc, in conjunction with Casino Media Group, a multi-media gaming agency based in New York.

"We are pleased to have such a great partner using our platform to run such an exciting promotion," stated Michael Clebnik, COO of Poker Creations. "Our goal is to work with brands that recognize the explosion in poker interest and offer U.S.-compliant online poker promotions. Up until now US brands have had no way to connect with the online poker audience as the majority of online poker sites are offshore operators that are illegal in the U.S."

"From a player's perspective", Clebnik added, "This is the Absolute best chance you will have to win a seat at the WSOP. What could be better than free? We expect to have many similar promotional tournaments in 2006."

To register in Milwaukee's Best Light's free online "Texas Hold 'Em Challenge" tournament, individuals should go to http://poker.milbestlight.com. The promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C. who are twenty one (21) years or older. This offer is void where prohibited by law.

Along with the six seats at the WSOP, Milwaukee's Best Light will also be awarding 600 runner-up prizes, Milwaukee's Best Light premium poker sets.
