playing an aussie millions qualifier ....at the final table in the samll blind...
6 of us left I have roughly 8000 chips the big blind has about 9k and the blinds are 200/400  all fold to me and I have ace 5 i raise preflop 4000 chips half my stack....the big blind calls ....the flop is ace 5 3  I go all in with top 2 pair....when the cards turn over he has 2 4 offsuite and flopped a str8....turn and river are nothing ,......again I know this sounds conspiracy minded but how in the hell do you call 10x the BB with a 2 4 offsuite at the final table.....

how the heck did the other player get to the final table  playing hands like  2,4 agaisnt a 10x bet.

A few days ago, I saw an player goeall in after a 4x then  a big reraise of the blinds on 10, 8 unsuited.  The 10,8  beat the AA, and KQ.  The the 10, 8 player a few hands latter goes over the top with  a J,7 unsuited and out draws a medium pair and two large overcards.

He made the final table and continue to make super agressive plays. He eventually lost half to me when I slow played the nuts, and the other half the next hand to another player who again slow played into him and he finished out of the money.

Which is why it pays to "watch" the table, even when your not in a hand. This gives you the information to take that aggressive player when YOU want to. 8)

I was playing in a tourney last night - not getting much in cards and beginning of the second hour. From sheer boredom and inpatience went all in with a pair of 8's - not in position and after two others already had gone allin.

Got an 8 on the river and knocked other two out. Comments were SHE REALLY IS A WITCH

You never can figure out why somebody does what they do

Ended up at the final table... finished third.
