My whole poker life is a bad beat
« on: December 21, 2008, 02:05:42 PM »
I now see why they say "I'd rather be lucky than good"  because I seem to have the best of it 85% of the time going in with all my chips but out of that 85% the other players seem to outdraw me 90% of the time.  If I happen to be the underdog I seem to outdraw others about 7% of the time.  This game can really suck since it's better to be lucky than good
It's Ok To Fold!  It may be the best move you make!

:D That leaves you a small five percent, not good.  Change your tactics, style, read more books, or best of all, take the LUCK!!!!  I think for most of us average players luck is worth much more than our skill.
