live gave bad beat

Was getting a run of online bad beats and decided to play a live game this weekend......25 people 18 left  we started with 1500 and I have 1250 left.

Get A8 in BB and Getting to see a flop

Flops  8 8 3 rainbow very nice and I bet big....everyone folds but one who calls me all in......now I know this guy and think he doesn't have a 33 or 83 and am correct

I call and the guy flips over a J 10 suited....OK am thinking I have this

turn 9  river Q  WOW   Now I usually would get upset but actually found it funny ....took 4th in the next game and 1st in the 3rd game:)

Good show in finishing fourth after that beat, congrats.  You should, however, change your subject heading:  you didn't give a bad beat - you received a bad beat, even thought it wasn't all that outragious.  Most of us and, I'm sure you included, have seen much worse bad beats.  Isn't that what makes the poker world go round and round???  :lol:  :lol:
