POKER4EVER STUPIDITY
« on: August 24, 2007, 07:12:47 PM »
Hello all, I really hope all members here at FRT read the email we recieved from Buc and follow his lead. I have already sent P4E an email stating how stupid their new rules are. Most of us who played there in the past, can no longer play there unless they belong to a certain group. If you didn't download from a site you can't play in their freerolls even if you belong to that forum group. How stupid is that. Follow the email, the email address is included, tell them at P4E how you feel about their idiotic rules, ask them to change things back to the way it was before. I did, and I will be sending out another email on Monday. If we all ban together they might actually hear us and change things. WTG Buc. I'm with you.
TAKE IT TO THE RIVER AND YOU WILL DROWN!

Thank you for your support.

I listed the details here for the members that don't read the newsletter.

Hello Freerolltourny members,

While I have always tried to handle the problems I have with poker sites on my own, this time I need your help.   I have been trying to get Poker4ever to see the error of thier ways.  Most players already know about 3 months ago poker4ever changed the way they allow affiliates (forum owners) to set up private events. The way the system is now, you can only play in an event if you download from that affiliate. This has caused some major problems that I don't agree with.  For example,  players started to open multiple accounts and players that first downloaded from an affiliate whose forum is now closed or from an affiliate that doesn't host private events can no longer play in our events. I have never really cared if a player downloads from me.  Once in awhile we do have special games for those that do this, but we do not have many of those. Some poker sites do not understand that even if a player does not download from me but opens the software to play in one of our events, that we are helping that poker site. Most money players will sit at a ring table or play another buy-in game once they open that site's software. Poker4evers ring game action has dropped to almost nothing since the new rule went into place and the reps there cannot put 2+2 together. So what can you do for me?

On Monday join Freerolltourny and other forums in an email blitz. Please send an email to marketing@poker4ever.com and let them know you are not happy about the change. If your afraid you might forget, please send the email now. Let them know you want private events open for all affiliates that wish to have their events open for all players with the password.

Over the last few years, Don and I have had lots of events at poker4ever and we wish they would make the change. We don't think it is right that a member on our site can only play if they download from us. We have several active forum members that cannot play in the events and don't believe it is fair.

Thank you,

Bucnright

Good idea buc!!

I hope the members here will do this to help out.  Buc has done alot for the members here and he deserves our help back.  One of our partner sites, Texaswheel (don) had games there often until this rule came along and I am no longer able to play the games as several others aren't, this is wrong.  I don't even remember where I downloaded the site from, therefore I don't play there at all any more.  If I can't even play at a site for the forums I work at, then I don't want to play there at all.  They obviously lost many players due to this stupid rule of theirs, why they haven't figured that out and changed it back yet is beyond me.

PLEASE help buc and don out by emailing P4E on Monday or sooner if you need to!!!  Send to marketing@poker4ever.com

Thanks!!
