How do I prevent someone from doing this again? I thought I played it perfectly, but got rivered again. Please help.

I don't understand how you call the raise on the flop? They were chasing a 4 out draw plus 2 overs that might or might not help them. To push on the turn blows my mind. You are pushing with at best 8 outs, maybe 14.

i would of folded when azutti all inned.  you prolly could not of prevented anything  unless maybe you all inned first after the flop.

you called his all in with only top pr..  he coulda had trips or 2 pr.  if you woulda folded you wouldn;t of been out of the tourny and prolly got your chips back with a little patience.

another way to avoid this is not playing A9.  with all the limpers in the pot no telling what 2 cards people have.  most likely he planned to bluff you the whole way. You just can't fold top pair top kicker so his bluff was worthless.
