withdrawl curse
« on: July 06, 2009, 05:37:41 PM »
has anybody else ever heard about the withdrawl curse?  when you withdraw your money from a poker site supposedly you go on a losing streak.  i'm not superstitious myself but last time i withdrew my money i never won on that site again.  i went to a different skin of that network and everything was fine again.  now i want to withdraw but having second thoughts.  silly?

No my curse is usually right before I cash out I decide to go to ring games and donkeys put me on tilt and then it is worth cashing after losing a couple hundred LOL.

I don't know if this happens.  I have heard people say this.  Personally I have put off cashing out for this very reason.  My thinking is "why take a chance" lol.  Maybe we are just more sensitive to the losses after cashing.  Somebody that cashes out often at a particular site needs to give us some advise. ;)

Total Poker Myth. I have withdrawn consistantly over the last 5 years and have been a profit making player for all but 1 month in that period.
I'm your Huckleberry, thats just my game.
