Tip ##3

I would have to say the best tip for a player starting off to build a bankroll would be stay away from ring games, they can really hurt your self esteem. Stick to your basic low limit tourneys and sitngoes, that way you minimize your loses and maximize your wins.

Ive found this out the hard way struggling to build a bankroll by playing ring games. I had nights where I could sit at a ring game with 25$ and build it up to 600$ at the same table, but this doesnt last everyone.

It can all be lost in one hand witch is why now I just play sitngoes and tourneys. buying in with an average of 50$ a week by making my deposit and wining tourneys and or sitngoes making around 300 a week. And it is alot more fun losing at a sitngo tbl then it is a ring table. cause at a ring table I find myself to keep rebuying until im empty. Which is not very good.

Try this out and let me know how you do..

Cheers.

Man, i don't know about u but I found out that I do better in ring games then tourneys. Sure you can lose it in one hand, but you always have your ups and downs. I first started playing on line in the tourneys and found that I was loosing more. Switch over to ring games and wam my purse went up. I still play in some tourneys but they have to make it worth it..

I think it is down to personal choice. I prefer the sng & tourneys as I dind that in ring games those with a huge bankroll even if it is not on the table will call with any donk hand and I am fed up of getting sucked out on with crap. At least in a sng/ tourney you dont get financially crippled by the donks if you hit an unlucky patch.
