I still wonder why people get so angry when they get a bad beat we all know they happen we all know that there are crazy people out here and we know people call with junk. But it still amazes me how people go off on other players when they get sucked out it's all part of the game isn't it. Yes I know 72 os hiting 227 on the flop is rediculious but again if someone want's to risk there chips staying in with that junk we all know they will not be there in the end and we need to play against that. Isn't that what makes us better players knowing when to hold em or when to fold em? Just a thought.

Sometime you just cant help yourself though  :lol:  I have had a few choice words for some players sometimes.... but that is PART of the game too, nothing wrong with a little MENTAL WARFARE at the table, even if it just in chat.

that is horrible, aces being cracked are always bad. i try to play agressive with them to get the jack-3's out....just how i play though

Here's one for ya,
i had pockey aces so i put in a raise, 1 other person raises all in so of course i call. I turn over my aces he has 3 5 off, i catch my ace he hits a low straight. As you could probably tell i was not amused.

Last night I traveled to the new Fallsview Casino, here in Niagara Falls. Sat at a $3/$6 table. This one hand, I was on the button with pockt q's. There was a call from seat 2 and a raise of $65 from last position. I called and everyone else folded. The flop came 6h 3s qd....whooo whooo I thought to my self, then this guy made a nice bet of $200, so I reraised all in and he called the remaining $635. He showed pokt 10's. The turn and river were both frickin' 10's. My boat to his quads. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Ouch...........that's pretty bad.  I think you played it rather well, the only thing I might have done differently would be to reraise him preflop (but thins guy sounds like he would have called anyway) and maybe not gone all in after the flop.  I would have just called his $200 raise and waited to see the turn, but hen he would have hit his set and called you all-in in which case you would have called anyway.   You know what I would have played the exact same way you did lol

steveo - that is a terrible beat but you gotta tell me - did you make a raise preflop?

I mean there is no way a guy with J3 should be in that hand. If you just smooth called hoping to beat him out then it is still a bad beat but it's at least something that I can justify.

I mean if you have AA and the flop is 3 A 3 after making a big raise (3-4x BB) preflop then you know you have either the best hand or your dominated by a guy playing 33. There is no way anyone with a 3 in their hand should have been in that hand with you holding AA preflop.

jd agree -  if there was a 3 to 5x BB raise preflop and the other player called with j3 then he/she, in most instances, made a bad call.  If not, playing fast with low trips is reasonable.  Catching quads was just lucky.

  So, what's new?  Not surprising anymore how often AA loses,

expecially in freerolls, and if they are slow-played.  They are not a

guaranteed win, that's for sure.   :lol:
