Well last night was a great night for me. Played in a home game with 6 players, NL Holdem of course. Buy-in is a mere $25, of which first place takes all the twenties and second gets all the fives. I took FIRST PLACE for a win of $120 !
After that we played a winner take all $5 with five players and I was heads up and huge chip lead, lost 2 all-ins against other player, essentially quadrupling him up, but I was still ahead by about 2 times his stack, it was pretty late.... so I offered a split, 15 for me 10 for him, he took it, I should mention he is also a great player and we might have battled it out for another two hours, so I wanted that split.
But for both buy-ins totaling $30 and I walked away with $135! Not a bad night.
