Title: Taking Notes
Post by: giraug on June 15, 2009, 03:11:19 PM
Most players take notes on their opponents... which notes do you register? any tips on this?

I usually take separate notes if I am playing sit & go, tourney or table, and depending on the $$ of the table or moment of the tourny.

any advice for this is more than welcome.

i have taken notes on most people for 4 yrs now.  it has helped me immensely in making decisions down the line.
ex:  hands they go all in with,  what they raise with.  if they are check raisers, slow players, limpers, bluffers calling stations, chasers and cards they tend to play in early position.  just some of the stuff i note when not busy.

its very good habit to take notes...
in that way u can keep a record of many good players and bad bluffers...
in future games it will give u a quick idea about there playing styles...
good day pal...

I don't make any notes about other players. There are two reasons of that:
- the notes are always lost after reinstalling of the poker client
- people don't play in the same way as the time goes...
