Just so the Americans (both north and south), Asians, Africans, those Downunder, Martians, Vulcans, Romulans, Klingons, and any other members, don't feel left out ...
And to advocate for my interest in greater variety in the events arranged for us, not the leaast of which is Omaha ...
How many of you good folks also like to play a variety of games, and intend to participate in the Omaha League at Poker.com?
And who are not detered by the (relatively) early start time?
Post a reply here!
(Europeans post in other thread, pls)

:) Wow, I'm surprised at the total lack of interest and no replies.
To be honest, I definitely prefer No Limit Holdem. I'll play the other
games only for a diversion.
-
Totally agree, Nell ...
The lack of interest is MegaAmazing!
So far as card games, I'm a jack oi all trades, master of none ...
Like to play a wide range of games, tho guess I would say Omaha hi/lo is my favorite. Maybe because there is so little of it at times/prices that suit me. Anyway, to each his own!
:D :D :D
Many thanks for one reply at least!

:D Hey 't1', as you said, each to his own. Have to admit, though, for
the fun of it, Omaha hi lo is fun. I have a major idea why the lack of
responses/posts in this forum!! However, for now I will keep it to
myself. Do not want to spoil things for, and, want to keep everyone
guessing and in suspense.
Good luck with your Omaha play!
-
And the suspense mounts ...
What could it be ???
I look for ward to the next exciting episode, Nell
 :P

Lack of response is easy members don't have to post in this thread to get a password for a freeroll. All you have to do is check out Online poker tour 10 times the members we have here and they have an average of 7 posts a day. At every forum you have loyal members that make posts 85% of a forums members just want passwords.
Of OPT's 20413 2505 had made at least one post. OPT is one of the larger forums and with all the great work they do they are still close to the same %.

 Hey t1, Buc hit it right on the nail. I didn't want to say it,
obviously, because it would have been counterproductive. Now that
it's out of the bag, it's true. He does make it too easy for everyone
to get the forum passwords. He must have his reasons for doing so,
and, it must be worth it to him. Inevitably, these one-post wonders don't
care and don't bother to post. My personal policy is to make at least
one post for every forum game which I play. After that, if I find an
interesting enough topic, I post some more.
-
Nell, if you tell us some interesting topics to incorporate into the forums, we will gladly take them under consideration.
What works? What is of interest?
We are willing to work with all the members to get some more post going.
We have tried the non-Holdem games many times, and the response to them is never to great, but we have at least a couple a month to keep everyone happy, we switch up the times as often as we can and you will always see a few Euro-time friendly ones a month.
I even posted a whole forum thread for German speaking members at the partner site, and there has been little to no participation.
So throw out some suggestions, and lets see what we can get going.
:D

 Hey t1, Buc hit it right on the nail. I didn't want to say it, .....
Yes, didn't want to say it either. T'is pretty obvious.
Don't know what it takes to wind these people up ...
Nell, if you tell us some interesting topics to incorporate ....
What works? What is of interest? .........
:D
I would guess that nearly all my posts have dealt with the tournaments, both free and buy-in.
That's interesting enuff for me !!!

:D Good Morning!
My favorite is holdem but the other games are a nice change of pace.
It doesn't matter to me what time the tournys start ~ I will be there!!Even in the middle of the night!
Do I work? Yes. But I can handle it!! I "Just LeDoux It!"
Sumer
-
:D Don, I am multilingual, but still, the use of different languages in the forum would not work with the majority of members. It would create chaos and lead to even less posting. I'm sure non-english speaking countries have started and will start their own forums.
 t1, I am in the same boat as you re the type of posts I make. Mostly in reply to tournament play. BTW, I like that word: MegaAmazing.
Sumer, borrowing a page from Nike are we? I like it and I think it's a nice play on their own words: Just LeDoux It, pretty funny.
-
:D ... BTW, I like that word: MegaAmazing.
MegaThanks, nell !!!

:) :D You are 'Mega Welcome', t1 :)

I come to the forum often and read most new post but seldom find anything to add so I am a silent partner mostly in the forum. For this, I apologize but I can't say that it will change. Wish I knew more jokes but I can't remember any for more than 10 minutes anymore or I would post them to be a little more active.
 :(
-
You have 41 posts thats not bad. There are 1000 members with one post just to get the passwords. You are a good member. :D :D :D

Hey folks! Just new to this forum and was wondering if the Omaha league is still running? I'm just reading a book now on how to play Omaha 8. I know how to play Omaha 8 but I don't know HOW to play Omaha 8 to make money. I am half way through the book and went on a couple of sites and just played the play money games, Limit, using the advise from the book and have not had a losing session yet. Like the book says "There are alot of bad Omaha player out there". I think it's a game where you can make some money.
-
wondering if the Omaha league is still running?
..... Omaha 8. .....
We're waiting for the final event, which was previously postponed due to ... difficulties ...
Haven't checked to see if it is listed yet.
Unfortunately ... it's not 8, just Omaha ...
But that's not all bad !!!
t1tpfdc
ps can you send me the book when you're finished? what's the title? ds
-
The name of the book is "Winning Omaha 8 Poker" by Mark Tenner and Lou Kreiger.

Hi,
I would like to respond to a post by Nellob.
I am one of those people who signed onto the forum for the passwords. I am an active player at Livepoker and the site is still so new we don't have the volumne of players to fill the tables. I saw the affilliate and special tourneys going on at my site and wanted to play in them. I asked around and with the help of the others I found out how to get the PW. I am limited to Macintosh friendly sites and didn't think I could play at any other sites. I didn't know I could be involved at other forum sites without downloading their poker program. I do read as many as I can and when I saw the section to introduce myself I did.
I hope this letter isn't to long, but I wanted to explain my lack of participation at this forum. I have come to learn this is not the case, so watch out, you may get tired of seeing me
