Win some, lose some
« on: August 08, 2009, 04:40:42 PM »
In the middle and late stages of a tournament you have to win "coin flips" to get deep in the tourney.  Today on PokerStars I just couldn't get any momentum in the "coin flips"  One hand I rivered an 8 to make a set and beat KJ who flopped a jack to only lose a few hands later when I had 1010 vs 99,

it really does suck when that happens man believe me ive had it done a few times usually i start off on a roll winning almost every hand then ill lose 1 big pot and suddenly cards start turning on me i try to maintain a cool head after losing big pots and play my cards the way they should be but sometimes that just doesnt work  :'(
Allin Situation: 7s-7c vs 7h-3s...Flop: 7d-8h-9h...Turn: 10h....River: 6h...Not Only Does 7-3 Beat 7-7 It Beats It Well  ;D

Ah the game of poker.  Win some, lose some is a good way to look at it.  Cheers!
